Flavours of orange rinds and red plum skins segue into a finish that takes a few seconds to really set in and show itself

This too is lovely and age worthy

This is also quite spicy if perhaps not quite as elegant as that of the Brûlées though there is just as much depth

Poliziano, Stanze Vintage:2011 Offering up aromas of confitThe 2011 Le Stanze del Poliziano, the estate's Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot blend, offers lovely juiciness and intensity throughout. Dark plum, crme de cassis, cloves, menthol and licorice are some of the signatures. Fleshy and generous, the 2011 should continue to drink nicely for another decade or so. Readers who like more aromatic and flavor nuance will want to give the 2011 a little more time in bottle, as it is still quite young. Antonio Galloni
